<strong>SYNOPSIS</strong>: Summer of 2010. Kashmir oscillates between peace and violence. Two tender lives, unsure of their destiny, set forth on a dangerous journey. Only one of them returns. For the rest, watch the film.
<strong>About the Filmmaker: </strong> Siddhartha Gigoo is a poet, novelist, short story writer and filmmaker. His books include two collections of poetry, Fall and Other Poems and Reflections, two books of fiction, The Garden of Solitude and A Fistful of Earth and Other Stories (longlisted for the Frank O'Connor International Short Story Award 2015), and A Long Dream of Home, which he co-edited for Bloomsbury. His short story The Umbrella Man won the Commonwealth Short Story Prize (2015) for Asia.
Goodbye, Mayfly is Siddhartha's latest short film. The film won the best film award (Indian Competition) at the 5th Bangalore International Short Film Festival, India in August 2015. It was also selected for the Competition Section of the 8th International Documentary and Short Film Festival of Kerala, India.
